Seven Sisters Apostolate

Praying for Our Priests

The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church through the gift of prayer. Each day of the week, a woman commits to offering one Holy Hour solely for the sanctification and intentions of a specific priest or bishop. This “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10), an offering of time before the Lord, seeks to draw each priest into deeper conformity with the Heart of Christ.

At Saint Ambrose, we are blessed to have groups praying daily for our priests. Each priest’s group is led by an Anchoress, who coordinates prayer commitments and welcomes new participants.

While all our priests currently have full coverage, we joyfully welcome those who wish to double up in prayer! Anyone desiring to pray for one of our priests is invited to join — committing to one Holy Hour each week for at least one year.
