A Five-Part Series for Inner Healing
After prayerful consideration, we are blessed to offer a second series of Healing the Whole Person course focused on personal inner healing here at Saint Ambrose Catholic Community. This course invites you into a season of reflection, freedom, and encounter with the healing love of Jesus Christ. Participation is limited to 20 individuals.
This series is a meaningful next step for those who have attended a Healing the Whole Person weekend, offering deeper engagement with the material and space to continue your personal healing journey. It is also an excellent introduction for anyone beginning this path for the first time.
No Small Groups—Just You and the Lord
Many people long for healing but hesitate to join a group setting. This course is designed differently. Participants will engage with video teachings by Dr. Bob Schuchts and Sr. Miriam Heidland, SOLT, of the John Paul II Healing Center, followed by silent prayer and guided journaling.
This is not a small-group discussion—it is a personal retreat experience with the Lord.
What You’ll Experience
Through this powerful study, Dr. Bob and Sr. Miriam will guide you in:
- Understanding the wholeness of body, soul, and spirit.
- Bringing your wounds, sins, and struggles to God for healing.
- Receiving freedom through prayer and the sacraments.
Participants who have carried burdens such as anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, illness, or persistent patterns of sin have found this program especially life-changing. The teachings open the door to encounter Christ as healer and to experience His peace and restoration.
Course Format and Details
The series includes:
- Four class evenings with video sessions and time for silent reflection.
- One healing service evening with Adoration, Confession, guided meditation, and intercessory prayer.
Each session builds on the last, so participants are asked to commit to the full series.

- Thursday Evenings: January 8, 15, 22, 29
- Healing Service: Tuesday, January 27
