Now–December 6 – Advent Giving Drive

Share the joy of Christmas by giving from the heart.

Each Advent, our Outreach Ministry invites parishioners to help bring warmth and hope to individuals and families who need assistance during the Christmas season. Through your generosity, hundreds of gifts are shared with those who might otherwise go without — reminding them that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

How It Works

This year’s program has a simple focus: individual gifts. Stars will be displayed on the Advent Wall in the Commons Area before and after all weekend Masses. Each star represents one person and one gift request.

How to Participate

  1. Take a Star — Choose a star from the Advent Wall.
  2. Shop for a Gift — Purchase the item listed on the star.
  3. Return the Gift — Bring your unwrapped gift back during the designated drop-off weekends.

Advent Giving Schedule

  • Nov. 7 & 8: Pick up a star
  • Nov. 14 & 15: Continue to pick up stars
  • Nov. 21 & 22: Drop off your gifts
  • Dec. 5 & 6: Final weekend for gift drop-off

Who Your Gifts Support

Each star color (or angel) represents one of the organizations we partner with — each serving a unique community in need:

  • A Place of Hope MN: Collects and distributes new, unwrapped toys and stocking stuffers to families and kids in the South Washington County area who are facing financial hardship during the holiday season.
  • Holiday Hope: Supports individuals and families facing financial hardship in central Washington County through its Holiday gift program.
  • Leech Lake Twin Cities: Serving individuals and families of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe who reside in the seven county area of the Twin Cities and are facing financial difficulties.
  • Little Sisters of the Poor: Offering comfort and care to elderly residents in their Twin Cities home.
  • To Be Truly Seen (TBTS): Sharing God’s love and joy with those experiencing homelessness.
  • Angel Tree – Prison Fellowship Ministries: Providing Christmas gifts for children on behalf of an incarcerated parent or loved one.

Volunteer and Get Involved

Help share the joy of giving this Advent season! We are looking for volunteers to assist before and after weekend Masses, as well as help distribute and wrap gifts on December 7. Whether you can give a little time or a few hours, your support makes a meaningful difference in bringing the spirit of Advent to those in need.
