Saint Monica’s Circle is a confidential, faith-centered community for women who have experienced the trauma of discovering a husband’s pornography use, sexual addiction, or other sexually betraying behaviors. Through prayer, trusted resources, and the support of other women who understand this journey, Saint Monica’s Circle offers a place to begin moving toward healing with hope.
Named for Saint Monica, whose life was marked by steadfast prayer, perseverance, and trust in God through years of heartache and uncertainty, this ministry reminds women that even in circumstances they cannot control, the Lord remains near. Like Saint Monica, we are invited to place what we cannot change into God’s hands while allowing Him to strengthen, restore, and lead us forward.
You Don’t Have to Walk Through This Alone
Betrayal can leave you questioning what is true, whom you can trust, and what the future holds. Healing does not mean ignoring what has happened or rushing toward a particular outcome. It begins by recognizing your own dignity, tending to the wounds you have experienced, and receiving the support you need.
Saint Monica’s Circle, beginning in October, provides a safe and compassionate environment to help women:
- Understand and begin healing from betrayal trauma
- Rebuild a sense of safety and trust
- Establish healthy boundaries
- Address obstacles to emotional and relational intimacy
- Rediscover confidence, hope, and resilience
- Deepen their relationship with Christ throughout the healing process
Faith and Trusted Resources
Saint Monica’s Circle draws upon resources from Bloom for Catholic Women and Pure Desire Ministries, bringing together Catholic spiritual insight with professional therapeutic and educational resources for women experiencing betrayal.
Bloom for Catholic Women is supported by Catholic clergy and experienced clinical professionals who bring expertise in betrayal trauma, marriage and family therapy, sexual addiction recovery, and pastoral care.
