Seven Sisters Apostolate

Seven Sisters Apostolate

United Holy hours for priests

A call to strengthen our priests through prayer, unity, and sacrafice.

Our Mission

The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a beautiful ministry of prayer and support for our priests.

Seven women each commit to a Holy Hour on a distinct day of the week to pray for a specific priest, offering spiritual encouragement and strength.

Through our faithful prayers and sacrifices, we strengthen the priesthood, promote unity, and foster the spiritual well-being of our clergy and our parish community.

How It Works

Commitment

Seven women each commit to a Holy Hour on a specific day of the week.

Support

Fasting Brothers offer sacrifices and prayers in solidarity with the Seven Sisters.

Daily Prayer

Each day, one sister offers her Holy Hour for her assigned priest.

Strength in Unity

Together, we form a circle of prayer that surrounds our priests each day.

Meet Our Seven Sisters

Interested in Joining?

At Saint Ambrose, we are blessed to have faithful women and men praying daily for our priests through the Seven Sisters Apostolate and Fasting Brothers ministries. Each priest’s Seven Sisters group is led by an Anchoress, who coordinates prayer commitments and welcomes new participants.

Current Anchoresses

While our priests currently have full prayer coverage, we joyfully welcome those who feel called to join in this mission. Additional prayer partners are always a blessing. Anyone desiring to pray for one of our priests is invited to participate by committing to one Holy Hour each week for at least one year.
