April Visit to Dorothy Day
Join our To Be Truly Seen (TBTS) ministry as we bring hope, joy, and companionship to our brothers and sisters at the Dorothy Day Center this February. This opportunity offers our parish a meaningful way to share Christ’s love with those experiencing homelessness, reminding each person that they are seen, valued.
During our time at Dorothy Day, volunteers will help distribute warm clothing and personal care items, serve snacks, play Bingo, and spend time in conversation with guests. These simple acts of kindness make a profound difference, especially in the winter months.
Saturday, April 18
Mass: 8:00 am in the Church
Volunteer Gathering: 8:35 AM in Fellowship Hall
Schedule
- 8:00 am – Mass in the Church
- 8:35 am – Team gathers in Fellowship Hall for instructions and carpooling
- Morning at Dorothy Day
- 11:30 am – Depart for home
