Totus Tuus

A Totally Tremendous Catholic Summer Experience

Totus Tuus (Latin for “Totally Yours,” a motto of Saint Pope John Paul II) is coming to Saint Ambrose Catholic Community this summer! This high-energy, faith-filled program invites children and youth of all ages to grow closer to Christ through prayer, joyful learning, and authentic community.

Totus Tuus combines the fun and excitement of a Vacation Bible School–style program with a deeply Catholic focus on evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. Through engaging teaching, daily prayer, and the joyful presence of missionary teams from our Archdiocese, participants are invited not only to learn about their faith, but to encounter Christ in a personal and lasting way.

What Makes Totus Tuus Special?

Totus Tuus is known for its enthusiasm, authenticity, and depth. Each day is intentionally designed to help children and youth experience the Catholic faith as something living, joyful, and meaningful.

  • Engaging Catholic teaching rooted in Scripture and Tradition
  • Missionary teams who model joyful, faithful living
  • Opportunities for Mass and Confession, placing the sacraments at the heart of the week
  • Prayer experiences that invite personal encounter with Christ
  • Age-specific programming designed for children and youth at every stage

Totus Tuus isn’t just about learning the faith — it’s about igniting hearts, deepening relationships with Christ, and forming disciples who carry their faith beyond the summer.

Volunteers Needed

Totus Tuus is made possible through the generous support of our parish community. We invite middle school youth, high school youth, and adult volunteers to be part of this joyful, faith-filled week of formation and fun.

Volunteers are especially needed for the Pre-K and Elementary programs. Opportunities include:

  • Serving as a Crew Leader
  • Helping lead games and recess
  • Assisting with lunch, snacks, and water breaks (including Pre-K snack support)
  • Providing childcare for volunteers
  • Supporting evening Totus Tuus activities
  • Helping with setup and clean-up before and after the program week

Youth Volunteer Requirements
Youth volunteers are asked to complete a Youth Code of Conduct and submit two simple recommendation forms each year. These are brief questionnaires (not formal letters) and help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Meal Help Needed
Support our Totus Tuus youth program by helping feed our missionaries and teens.

We are looking for parishioners to:

  • Assist with cleanup
  • Donate a man dish or side
  • Help with evening meal setup
