At Saint Ambrose, our Outreach Ministry is dedicated to making a meaningful impact through service, generosity, and compassion. We invite you to join us throughout the year as we come together to support those in need. Whether through volunteer work, donations, or prayer, your involvement can make a difference!

Upcoming Events in 2025

March – Lenten Service Opportunities

As we reflect during Lent, we hope you join us in giving back through hands-on service with the Outreach Ministry team:

  • Feed My Starving Children: Friday, March 21 from 7:15-8:45 PM
  • Open Cupboard: Saturday, March 22 with shifts at: 9:45-11:30 AM or 11:15 AM -1:00 PM
  • St. Therese Senior Living Visits: Saturday, April 12 or Saturday, April 26 from 1:30-3:30 PM

May – Baby & Mom Drive

In honor of Mother’s Day (May 10-11), we will be collecting essential items for mothers and babies in need. Help us celebrate and support new life in our community. More details will be shared closer to May.


June – To Be Truly Seen Drive

As we recognize fathers this June (June 14-15), we also extend our outreach to those in need through our To Be Truly Seen (TBTS) Drive. Join us in making a difference and check back for more information in June.


July – School Supply Drive

Many children in our community need essential school supplies. Help us equip them for success by donating supplies on July 26-27.


September – Cold Weather Drive

As the weather cools, we work to ensure families have the warmth they need. Donate coats, gloves, and winter essentials on September 27-28.


October – Thanksgiving Food Drive

Join us in providing Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Donations will be collected on October 25-26 in the Parish & School.


November-December – Advent Giving Program

Our annual Advent Giving Program provides gifts and support to families and individuals during the holiday season. Future Advent Giving Program initiatives include:

  • Nov. 1-2: Family
  • Nov. 8-9: Family & Individual
  • Nov. 15-16: Individual
  • Nov. 22-23: Collection Weekend
  • Dec. 6-7: Final Collection Weekend

Day of Mercy: Wednesday, March 26th from 10 am - 8 pm - multiple priests available throughout the day for Confessions.
