By: Father Peter Williams

Dear Saint Ambrose Catholic Community,

Thank you for your continued support as we work to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-prepared campus for everyone who comes to Saint Ambrose—parishioners, staff, students, families, and guests. This month, our Safety & Security Committee met for the first time. This dedicated group, made up of parishioners, school parents, alumni parents, public-safety professionals, and security partners, will help guide our efforts to strengthen communication, preparedness, and safety across our church and school.

The Saint Ambrose Safety & Security Committee is committed to fostering a culture of readiness, collaboration, and care throughout our entire community. Rooted in our Catholic mission, the committee works to ensure that our safety decisions reflect expertise, best practices, and our shared responsibility to protect the dignity and well-being of every person who walks through our doors.

I am grateful for the partnership and expertise of those serving on this committee, who will work closely with our parish and school leadership:

  • Mike Fiandt – Alumni parent, parishioner, United State Air Force (Retired)
  • Mike Sand – Alumni parent, parishioner, Deputy Director of Emergency Management, City of Saint Paul
  • Josh Adams – Current school parent, parishioner, Deputy Sheriff Commander, Ramsey County
  • Molly Schaefer, Ed. D. – Current school parent, parishioner, and Gift Officer at Hill-Murray Catholic School
  • Pat Reardon – Alumni parent, parishioner, Finance Council member, and local business owner
  • Mike Olson – Parishioner, President & Founder 360 Security Services, United State Secret Service (Retired), and former Saint Paul Police Officer
  • Collin Olson – Parishioner, Investigator/Analyst, 360 Security Services

We will continue to keep you informed and updated on safety and security decisions. Thank you for your prayers, partnership, and trust as we strive to provide a secure and supportive environment for all who are part of our Saint Ambrose community.

Please know of my prayers for you and your families.

In Mary’s Arms,
Father Peter Williams
