Help Local Students Start the School Year Strong
Each year, our Saint Ambrose Outreach Ministry partners with our parish community to collect new school supplies for students and schools in need. Your generosity helps ensure children begin the school year equipped with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
Our annual School Supply Drive will take place July 25–26. Simply bring your donations to the Commons before or after any weekend Mass.
Most Needed School Supplies
Please donate new items only. All school supplies are appreciated, including:
Writing & Drawing
- #2 pencils
- Mechanical pencils
- Black, blue, and red pens
- Pencil sharpeners
- Large pink or white erasers
- Crayons (24-count)
- Colored pencils
- Washable markers (wide or narrow tip)
- Highlighters
Classroom Essentials
- Pencil cases
- Glue sticks or bottles of glue
- Blunt-tip or pointed scissors
- Transparent rulers (standard and metric)
- Pocket folders
- 3-ring binders (1″ or 1½”)
- Composition books (wide- or college-ruled)
- Spiral notebooks (wide- or college-ruled)
- Loose-leaf notebook paper (wide- or college-ruled)
- Graph paper

Volunteer
Help make this year’s School Supply Drive a success by volunteering during our collection weekend or assisting with sorting donated supplies afterward. Volunteers are needed before and after weekend Masses to welcome donors, receive donations, and help organize supplies. Additional volunteers are also needed following the drive to sort and prepare donations for distribution to local students and schools.
