Children’s Ministry

At Saint Ambrose we want to help children grow in their faith and support families in teaching their children about God and our Catholic faith. There are many areas throughout the parish where we engage with the children of our community, such as Vacation Bible School and Faith Formation, but we look forward to further growing the opportunities with our Children’s Ministry during weekend masses.

If you are interested in volunteering in the programs focused on our Children’s Ministry, please contact Nancy McGrew ([email protected]).

Currently at Saint Ambrose we are in conversations to relaunch the Nursery during our weekend masses. We believe for parents to be fully encompassed in the liturgy, there needs to be a safe, and fun, environment for their children to enjoy during mass. We look forward to the opportunity to offer the Nursery again and to provide another reason for children to be excited to come to church.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Another area we look forward to launching in the future is our Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Children during mass will be invited to learn more about God and will grow in praise for Him in a fun and enjoyable environment during the mass. We not only want to further teach the children of our parish about God, but we want them to know that they are an important part of our church community.
