SERVE BY WELCOMING AND SHOWING KINDNESS TO OTHERS
The mission of the Hospitality Ministry at Saint Ambrose is to provide a welcoming environment through the presence and conversations held by those involved in the ministry. Sharing our parish’s premium hospitality is another way to grow the church and allow our church to flourish. The following roles are part of the Hospitality Ministry at Saint Ambrose:
Greeters
Be the first impression of Mass to visitors and parishioners at Saint Ambrose. Welcome people to Mass, answer any immediate questions there may be and show our appreciation of individuals being part of the Saint Ambrose Catholic Community that day.
Ushers
Ushers take up the collection, assist with communion procession, distribute bulletins, and help clean up after Mass. We encourage our ushers to provide a sense of welcome, similar to our greeters, and help assist individuals needing additional assistance for Communion.
Sunday Morning Fellowship
Throughout the year, Saint Ambrose parish provides the opportunity for the parish community to share in breakfast treats and fellowship. We are in continue support to help with setup, serving and cleanup of the Sunday Morning Fellowship gatherings, especially as a family volunteer opportunity.
