Walking with Purpose

Women’s Bible Study

Walking with Purpose (WWP) is a Catholic women’s Bible study group that deepens your faith and brings you into a vibrant community. WWP Bible studies help women grow closer to Christ as they lean on truths found in Scripture to live joy-filled lives. The studies:

  • Offer solutions found in the Bible that can be applied to our everyday lives
  • Vary in length and depth to meet the needs of different women
  • Have received the imprimatur from the Roman Catholic Church

This year, Saint Ambrose’s WWP is offering several study options:

1. “Opening Your Heart” Bible Study

If you are new to Saint Ambrose WWP, this is the Bible study for you!

Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point is an introductory Bible study that will take you on an exciting journey closer to the heart of God, help you form a personal relationship with Christ, and help you find answers to life’s biggest questions through the context of the Catholic faith. You can learn more about this 22-lesson study here.

This study will run from October 2024 to May 2025. The study will take place, at Saint Ambrose, on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm (no childcare available).

2. “Living in the Father’s Love” and “Ordering Your Priorities” Bible Studies

New this year, we are offering a Bible study group on Wednesday mornings, after the school Mass. This group will do two shorter studies: Living in the Father’s Love, followed by Ordering Your Priorities.

Living in the Father’s Love is the ideal Bible study to revive and refresh yourself. Discover just how much God loves us and how the gospels are deeply relevant to our relationship with God and with those we love.  You can learn more about this 6-lesson study here. This study will run from October to December 2024.

Ordering Your Priorities: Building a Life Well Lived is an immensely practical Bible study that will help you put the most important things first. We’ll begin by paying attention to the One who made us, because He can best tell us what we need for our lives to run well. You can learn more about this 8-lesson study here. This study will run from January to May 2025.

This study will take place, at Saint Ambrose following the school Mass, during the morning on 2-3 Wednesdays per month from 10:30 am-12:00 pm (no childcare available).

You can learn more about this 9-lesson study here. This study will run from October 2024 to January 2025.

Ordering Your Priorities: Building a Life Well Lived is an immensely practical Bible study that will help you put the most important things first.
